Madem Operations Are 100% HT - ISPM 15 Certified Worldwide

With the final implementation and HT certification at operations in Romania and Bahrain, all Madem plants worldwide are now exclusively working with HT ISPM 15 certified materials.

The HT standard evolved from the need for pest and insect control in wooden packaging for shipment.  Every year these requirements continue to tighten on customers in countries all over the world.

Madem Group anticipated this trend and proactively prepared for global operations to adopt this certification in Brazil, USA, Spain, Romania, and Bahrain.

“Aside from the obvious question of pest and insect control for packaging, HT certification has an additional positive environmental impact, because the HT process doesn’t use harsh chemicals and conforms to ISO 14.000 standards” said Leandro Mazzoccato, Director of Corporate Marketing and Sales.
