M-Reels announces new design and sales strategy

Thursday, Feb 04, 2010

The small range of modular M-Reels have until now been produced with 4.4m to 5.5m flanges, with a variation of core sections and widths, as rental objects only.

As a result of feedback from clients and experience, a new line of reels have been designed. This allows a greater variation of models, with less parts and connections, as well as more payload capacity variations.

M-Reel’s strategy for the new line of reels will be changed. In the future they will sell these reels, and only under special circumstances enter into hire contracts.

The new line of reels will still be modular and fit in to standard open top containers when transported empty, but require less time to assemble/dismantle.
