Distributor Wire & Cable, a leading wire distributor purchases a Formula Labs Codemaster 640-J wire striping and dyeing machine for its Denver, CO, facility. The Codemaster 640-J is the newest technology to dye and stripe wire. This state-of-the-art machine was custom manufactured over a 24 week period specifically for Distributor Wire & Cable.
“The Codemaster is another way we are able to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. It is by far the most technologically advanced machine of its kind available today. It will only add to our great list of value added services.” commented Bryce Huett, president of Distributor Wire & Cable.
The Codemaster 640-J has the unique ability to add spiral striping (up to the three colors simultaneously) to PVC (polyvinyl chloride), XLP (cross linked polyethylene) or even FEP Teflon. Another unique feature of the Codemaster is its full color dyeing capabilities. This allows customers to have the exact color of cable they need in a very short period of time helping to avoid factory minimums and long lead times.
“It is a luxury to use a machine of this caliber. It stripes per foot at a very fast rate allowing us to offer a 24 hour turnaround on striping orders while still producing a perfect looking stripe for the customer.” remarked Nash Flores, director of shipping and logistics for Distributor Wire & Cable.
